Blooms of Summer

Magnolia bloom

Our “new” house (we’ve been here for over a year) came with two towering magnolia trees – one in the front and one in the backyard. As Southern magnolias flower in the late spring and through the summer, the blooms continue to pop up during the heat and humidity. I haven’t followed through with my resolution to garden, but we still get to enjoy these fragrant blossoms.
