We were lounging outside this past Sunday in 70 degree weather, but woke up to rain and the return of cold temperatures on Monday. We may be eager for spring after the snowstorm and a cold winter, but consistent warm weather will remain elusive for weeks to come.
Daffodils popped up in our yard last week, reminding me of my frequent but non-committal vow to finally delve into gardening.
The cold temperatures took a toll on our first spring blooms, but the resilient flowers will bounce back with the next wave of warm weather.
Spring is on the way, but for now it’s still sweater weather in Charlotte.
